Guest Ratings & Reviews
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms had a great view of the city's cathedral and were nice, clean, spacious, and welcoming, with new-ish carpets. However, they were a little small. The service was excellent, offering to go with me to the garage and explaining the situation, but unfortunately, the 'fine bulles' described were non-existent. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of wonderful Dijon old town, though slightly off the main streets. The dining experience was okay but lacked variety and quality. Overall, a pleasant experience with a few minor drawbacks.
The hotel offers a mix of positives and negatives: the rooms have a 70's style decor and might need an upgrade, but they are decent if you don't get one of the compact street-facing rooms. The service stands out for its helpfulness and tolerance towards language barriers, providing excellent recommendations. The location is convenient for exploring the city center on foot, though some renovations are needed. Dining can be a hit or miss with separate charges, but there are vegetarian and vegan options available.
I found the hotel to be a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms, although smaller than expected, were clean and somewhat expensive. The service from Charlie and Alexie at the front desk was brilliant, even though there were some minor hiccups. The location was a pleasant surprise with a recent revamp, making it a perfect spot to explore the old city. The dining experience was satisfactory but a bit on the pricey side.
The hotel is conveniently located in the center of Geneva, with easy access to the main attractions. The rooms, although lacking tea and coffee facilities, were comfortable and had a mini-bar with a selection of drinks. The service was average with some staff members being unwelcoming. The dining experience was below average, with overpriced options and poor service. The location is great for exploring the city but suffers from noise due to its proximity to the railway station.
The hotel was serene yet sexy - as only the French can do - with close proximity to shopping, museums, and restaurants. The rooms were small, very clean, but uncomfortably hot due to inadequate ventilation. The shower head was leaking, and the bracket was broken, affecting the overall experience. The dining experience was pricey and stuck in the 70s with poor service. However, the service was helpful and attentive, especially the barman with great local wine knowledge.
I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money at this hotel. The rooms were clean and well-equipped with luxury robes, towels, and toiletries. However, accessing the hotel with our dog was a bit challenging.
